Roberta Saliba was born in Gozo, Malta in 2001 and is currently reading for a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Fine Arts graduate.
Similar to the unveiled layers of the objects under investigation explored from photography, she expresses her creative ideas by drawing, accompanying, and using mixed media in her work, including photomontage works.
Saliba's work leads to various trials, using photography and moving images to record snippets from everyday life and playful visual experiments, involving different subjects.
Saliba's works explore contemporary abstract themes, such as the fast movement in time, brought by the natural environments surrounding the subject, with an emphasis on light.
Back in 2019, some of Saliba's work was exhibited at the 'Gozo is Dada' exhibition, accompanied by ‘Għidli Storja’: Nature Trust – FEE Malta, where she produced a number of illustrations.
In the same year, she had the opportunity to produce a commissioned work, at Villa Messina, in Imdina, located in Rabat Malta.
